There are at least two artists with this name:
1. Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, vocalist/percussionist Anders Colsefni, and bassist Paul Gray. Following several lineup changes, the group eventually established a nine-member formation: Sid Wilson (0), Joey Jordison (1), Paul Gray (2), Chris Fehn (3), Jim Root (4), Craig "133" Jones (5), Shawn "Clown" Crahan (6), Mick Thomson (7) and Corey Taylor (8).
