Gorgisheli (Ukrainian, "Ґорґішелі", Georgian, "გორგიშელი") are a ukrainian pop-rock band founded in 2003 in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. The core lineup was known since 1997 as Чорний Вересень [Chornyj Veresen'] (Black September). Tamara and Eteri Gorgisheli, two sisters of Georgian ethnicity who were born and have spent all their life in Lviv, are the heart o fthe band. The music of Gorgisheli combines elements of art rock with Georgian and Ukrainian folk music.
